Intake Call
When you call to inquire about our services, we’ll answer your questions, ask a few to better understand your needs, and explain the next steps in the process.

Forms
You’ll receive an email with a link to complete all intake forms online, followed by a second email explaining how the evaluation process works.

Results.
You’ll receive the results from the CDE within 2-3 business days. At that time the examiner will answer any questions you may have.

FAQs
How quickly can we schedule a CDE?
We pride ourselves on scheduling clients within a week from the initial call. Evaluations are conducted Monday-Friday, and Saturdays upon request.
What do you diagnose?
The assessment tools administered are intended to diagnosis autism spectrum disorder or rule out autism spectrum disorder. An evaluation does not mean you child will receive a diagnosis. If no diagnosis is given, the examiner may give recommendations to have further testing done (i.e.- ADHD evaluation).
How quickly will I get the results from the CDE?
Results are shared with the family within 2-3 business days.
What is the difference between an in-person evaluation and a telehealth appointment?
We support whichever evaluation method that is best suited for the individual being assessed. In some cases, individuals feel more comfortable in their own home, alongside a parent, and playing with preferred toys. Telehealth evaluations are typically parent-led, with the examiner providing guidance and support remotely. For individuals who can answer questions and engage in conversation, the examiner will lead most of the evaluation.
In-person evaluations are conducted in a clinical office setting using specific diagnostic toys that align with the assessment tool. Assessment rooms are structured, free from distractions, and the evaluation is 100% led by the examiner.
Do you accept insurance?
Spectrum Diagnostics operates on a fee-for-service basis and is not in-network with any insurance providers. Payment for the CDE is due at the time of the evaluation.
